Man is the safest place to hide

Just watched the new 2011 The Thing and then made a day of monstrous transforming body horror movies by watching John Carpenter's 1982 The Thing. Good times.
So these quick digital sketches happened.

This idea came from a picture of an iceberg, so it inspired the thought that the Thing is so much more than it's outward appearance.

These patches were made for a friends short film, he asked me to come up with fake punk band ideas, and I was watching The Thing at the time.

A couple more Thing inspired sketches.

Theodora I adore ya!

Oz the Great and Powerful was a lot of Ozzing fun. Mila Kunis rocked as Theodora. She also really rocked as (and this isn't really a spoiler as there were 2 good witches and 2 bad witches in the original remember...REMEMBER??? Glinda is a good witch there are only 2 other frickin' main acting ladies in the new film...gosh I wonder who they will turn out to be???) the Wicked Witch of the West.
Anywhoozle, after seeing the film I wanted to sketch her.

It's 2014, I did a few more...

Joseph Sarnos Laura's Toys

Have this film because

A: It has the gorgeous Cathja Graff in it (Yes she gets nude)
B: It has nudity... a lot...of nudity!
So today's art is again in the realm of the naughty...but what the hell.

Here's Cathja and her friend played by Anita Ericsson.

And here's Cathja on her own.

Alien right way up?

For anyone who is disconcerted with the upside down Alien, here is the big chap right way up.

Alien, just hanging around.

A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.

Tom Servo & Girl in Gold Boots

Did some more Mystery Science Theater 3000 know, for fun.

First I did a couple more sketches of the lovely Michele from Girl in Gold Boots.

Then because I was watching MST3K I decided to draw the one the only Tom Servo.
